If you already have your own architect or house plans, our construction team will work closely with your design team to ensure that your home benefits from the rigorous quality control standards upheld by South Coast Constructions. Our team will be happy to provide a tender for your project.
Step 1
Initial Consultation
The journey to creating your new home begins with a collaborative meeting with a member of our design team. We offer an obligation-free consultation where we can discuss your goals and requirements, allowing us to understand how we can work together to bring your vision to life.
Our design team will evaluate your site and communicate with the local council to identify any relevant constraints. From there, we’ll provide you with a clear understanding of the design options that align with your budget.
Step 2
Design Concept
Once your project brief is established, our design team will begin crafting your unique masterpiece.
Whether you envision a classic or contemporary style, our team has the expertise to ensure the design exceeds your expectations.
The initial concept design will include a floor plan, front and rear elevations and 3D impressions. Together, we will refine and perfect the design until it meets your expectations.
At this stage, preliminary construction estimates can be provided, as we now have a clear understanding of the size, configuration and complexity of your new home.
Step 3
Planning Approval
Once you approve the design and preliminary cost estimate, we will prepare and submit the required documentation to Council to secure Planning Approval.
Depending on the size and complexity of your project, Council may request additional information or small adjustments before granting approval.
Step 4
Working Drawings & Construction Documentation
Once Planning Consent is received from Council, our team will begin preparing the construction drawings for your new home.
Our design team collaborates with engineers and energy assessors to create a comprehensive Building Approval package.
Step 5
Contract, Selections & Construction
With your new home fully engineered and documented, our construction team can provide a fixed contract price for building your home. Once the contract is signed, selections will be finalised and construction will begin.
Throughout the construction process, your project will be overseen by one of our in-house Project Managers and a dedicated Site Manager. They will ensure the highest construction standards are upheld and that your home is built according to the approved design.
Step 6
Handover
When your new home is complete, we will proudly hand over the keys to you, marking the beginning of your new chapter.
